Harmony Development Coop began in 2006 with a shared belief that homes can be practical, beautiful, enduring, and deeply connected to the land around them. Rob and Shelley bring two distinct ways of seeing to the same table. One reads structure, terrain, materials, and the realities of construction. The other sees color, texture, flow, atmosphere, and the way a space makes people feel.

Rob brings decades of hands on building knowledge to conceptual home design, remodeling, structural problem solving, and preconstruction planning. He has a rare ability to look at a property or floor plan and recognize what will work, what may become costly, and what can be made simpler. His designs begin with the land, following the sun, slope, wind, water, views, and the rhythms of the people who will live there.

Shelley brings the artistic and human side of the work. Her background includes specialty painting, murals, custom textures, fine skip trowel finishes, space planning, sustainable living, and the careful listening that helps clients discover what they truly want from their home. She considers beauty part of function because the spaces surrounding us shape how we feel and live.

Together, Rob and Shelley help people think through the whole picture before expensive decisions are made. Their own life reflects the ideas they bring to their work, including solar energy, food growing, water awareness, practical building knowledge, creative reuse, and a close relationship with the Colorado landscape.

Harmony is their way of bringing craft, foresight, and care into one place. The goal is simple: help people create homes that work beautifully today, age gracefully, and belong naturally to the land.
